An official of Green Cross said, in a telephone interview with the Health Korea News on 19 August, "it is not true at all. Any mutual agreement was not made between the two parties."
However, the KCDC did not deny the contents of the JoongAng Ilbo's report.
The JoongAng Ilbo has reported on 19 August, by quoting a government's senior official, that the government made an oral contract with Green Cross for the influenza A/H1N1 vaccine's supply at a price of 7,700 won per dose(included a value-added tax(VAT)) and also made an oral contract with a multinational drugmaker for the vaccine's supply at a price of 10,000~12,000 won per dose.
