The Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs(MHWAF) announced on 14 July that 40 more cases of H1N1 influenza A were confirmed and the total number of infected people rose to 535 in South Korea.
In 40 newly confirmed cases were included 5 Koreans volunteers and 24 Indonesians who came to South Korea last week to participate in 'World Choir Championships Korea 2009' held in South Gyeongsang Province.
And the length of the event, originally scheduled for 11 days(7 July~17 July), was dramatically shortened to five days(7 July~11 July).
In South Korea, no one who was found to be positive with the H1N1 inflenza A died since the disease was first identified in April of this year.<헬스코리아뉴스>
