[Healthkoreanews] Domestic drugmakers are showing the downward trend of client entertainment expenses after the enforcement of new Pharmaceutical Pricing Policies including the rebate-related drug price cutting policy.
A recent data from Healthkoreanews showed that the total client entertainment expenses of 34 domestic major drug makers in 2009 have occupied 0.59 % of the total sales, down 0.18 % compared with 2008(0.77%).
In the field of client entertainment expenses rate, Jinyang pharm has marked the first place, recording 3.151 billion won(3.85%), followed by Han All Pharmaceutical(2.629billion won/ 2.66%), Myungmoon pharm(2.256 billion won/ 2.45%) and Samjin pharm(1.940 billion won/ 1.91%).
On the other hand, DongA pharm(2.2930 billion won/ 0.29%), Green Cross(2.294 billion won/ 0.4%) and Yuhan Corporation(2.494 billion won/ 0.40%) have showed very low client entertainment expenses rates(less than 1%).
Especially, Choongwae Pharma has recorded the lowest client entertainment expenses rate(0.04%(191 million won).
