And its import of medical supplies has marked down 15% ($1.148 billion) compared with the samed period of 2008.
Korea Pharmaceutical Traders Association(KPTA) announced on May 27 the data about imports and export of medical supplies and etc.
According to the data, the export of medical supplies including pharmaceutical raw materials, finished drugs and raw materials for Chinese medicine has recorded up 22.2% compared with its growth target.
Compared with the same period of 2008, the export growh rate of each of them is as follows:
pharmaceutical raw materials 105.9% ($100,2 million), finished drugs 105% ($100,6 million) and raw materials for Chinese medicine 105.8% ($1.99 million). In addition, cosmetics 106.6% ($87.73 million).
But the import of medical supplies has generally decreased compared with the same period of 2008: pharmaceutical raw materials down 15.8%($400.3695 million) and finished drugs down 14%($400,5632 million).
As for the import of materials for cosmetics, it has decreased 16%($26.20 million) compared with the same period of last year.<헬스코리아뉴스>
